MiniMax Hailuo 3 is MiniMax's H3 video model, the successor to Hailuo 2.3, launched on July 31, 2026.
It generates video and stereo audio together in one pass instead of adding sound afterwards. On Flashloop it renders 5 to 15 second clips at 768p or native 2K, in six aspect ratios, with first and last frame control.
Two things set it apart. The first is sound: dialogue, music, ambience and effects come out of the same generation as the picture, so a product shot arrives with its voiceover and room tone already in place. The second is text. MiniMax highlights accurate text and brand rendering, and in practice price tags, signage and logos stay readable more often than they do with most video models, which matters for ads and end cards.
For dance, sports or physics-heavy shots, compare it with a motion-focused model such as Seedance 2.0 before committing. MiniMax also published open weights for a base version of H3 in August 2026.
