Flashloop ("Flashloop", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Flashloop website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Flashloop, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect several types of information in connection with your use of the Service.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Username or profile information
  • Account credentials

2.2 Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe or mobile app stores.

Flashloop does not store full payment card numbers.

Payment providers may collect billing details necessary to process transactions.

AI Assistants You Connect

If you connect Flashloop to an AI assistant (see the AI Assistant Connections section), we send that assistant the results of the Flashloop tools it uses for you, such as your email address, credit balance, plan and links to your generations. We send them only to an assistant you connected, and only when it asks.

6. AI Assistant Connections

You can connect Flashloop to an AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor. The assistant can then create and manage content in your Flashloop account for you. This section explains what happens to your data when you do.

6.1 Connecting and Disconnecting

To connect, you sign in to Flashloop and approve the connection. The assistant receives a connection key that lets it use Flashloop for you. We keep the Flashloop sign-in tokens behind that key on our connection service and renew them automatically, so you stay connected.

We delete a connection after 30 days without use. You can disconnect Flashloop at any time in your assistant's settings. If you delete your Flashloop account, its connections stop working.

6.2 What We Receive From the Assistant

We only receive what the assistant sends when it uses a Flashloop tool, for example:

  • Prompts and generation settings, such as the model, length, aspect ratio or voice
  • Images, videos or audio you ask it to use, as files or links
  • Text for voiceovers, and names or descriptions for saved characters, locations, elements and voices

We do not receive your conversation history.

6.3 What We Send Back to the Assistant

Depending on what you ask for, Flashloop tools return:

  • Your email address, credit balance and plan (tier, status and renewal date)
  • Links to the images, videos and audio you generate, and their progress
  • Your generation history, saved references and voices
  • Credit cost estimates and error messages

If your assistant account belongs to an organization, the assistant may also ask us for your email address and whether it is verified, so it can apply your organization's access rules.

6.4 The Assistant's Own Privacy Practices

The company that runs your assistant (for example OpenAI for ChatGPT, or Anthropic for Claude) handles your conversation and the results Flashloop returns under its own privacy policy and terms. Review them before you connect.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Flashloop may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Operate platform functionality
  • Remember user preferences
  • Analyze usage patterns
  • Improve performance

Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:

  • Account information (name, email address, profile): while your account is active. It is deleted when you delete your account.
  • Your library (prompts, uploads, generated images, videos and audio, saved references and cloned voices): until you delete an item or your account. When you delete a generated image or video, it leaves your library right away; we keep a hidden record of it (prompt, settings and media link) for fraud prevention, security and analytics.
  • AI assistant connections: deleted after 30 days without use (see the AI Assistant Connections section).
  • Payment records: kept by us and our payment providers for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

When you delete your account, we delete your account and sign-in information right away. Generated images and videos, with their prompts, and your credit and usage history are kept in de-identified form: we unlink them from you so they can no longer be tied to your account, and use them only for fraud prevention, security and analytics. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account.

9. Data Security

Flashloop implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission
  • Secure cloud infrastructure
  • Access control systems
  • Monitoring for unauthorized activity

However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Flashloop may process or store information in countries outside your jurisdiction.

These countries may have different data protection laws.

By using the Service, you consent to such transfers where permitted by law.

11. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

  • Accessing your personal information
  • Correcting inaccurate information
  • Requesting deletion of your data
  • Restricting processing
  • Withdrawing consent where applicable

You can also, at any time:

  • Delete individual generations in the app or on flashloop.app
  • Delete your account in the app's settings or at flashloop.app/delete-account
  • Disconnect Flashloop from an AI assistant in that assistant's settings

12. Children's Privacy

Flashloop is not intended for users under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that such information has been collected, we may delete it.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including AI assistants you connect (see the AI Assistant Connections section).

Flashloop is not responsible for the privacy practices of those services.

Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party platforms they use.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Flashloop may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the website or the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
